Island Darts

Tim Cotter has contacted us from Stanley in the Falklands to tell us about a brace of SLF Darts operating there. Three are currently working for Penguin Travel, having previously been with Falkland Islands Tours & Travel. The three have Marshall 40-seat bodywork and started life on the Isle of Man in 1997, part of a batch of 25 vehicles. Fleet number 28 now has reduced seating following the fitting of luggage racks. A fourth SLF Dart, this one with Caetano body, is also in the Falklands, having also been with Falkland Islands Tours & Travel. It was new in 1999 and originally worked for Independent Way of Battersea.
